Today (May 1, 2022), Wiz Academy students participated in a futsal tournament named 1st Rara Gold Cup Japan, which is organized by the association of foreigners currently in Japan (Karnali Pardesh) at Coerver Football Park in Hachioji City, Tokyo. The students of Wiz Academy also participated in the tournament.
Twenty-five teams participated, including Nepalese and Bhutanese. Soccer is still very popular among international students. The Wiz Academy team worked hard and was able to make it to the quarter finals (semi semi final game). Unfortunately, we lost in the Quarter final (Round of 8). Still, I think it is great that they can do well in sports while attending school as international students. Wiz Academy students will do our best to win the next tournament!💪
